THE
PORSCHE
Our Porsche Cayenne Turbo has been heavily modified to create the ultimate high speed arm car. With a 0-60 of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 173 mph this is one of the fastest and best equipped arm cars in the world. We chose to optimise the speed and agility available to ensure we can get the shot, whether its at low or very high speeds!
Our adaptable interior features custom electronics, high quality monitors and an internal video playback system.
THE RIGS
ULTRA ARM
Our Motocrane Ultra Arm Porsche is the ultimate high speed arm car. The lightweight arm allows us to operate at high speed without compromising the handling of the vehicle at speed, It's 12ft reach, powerful motors and precise control allows us to fly 30kg payloads at speeds in excess of 75mph
providing the crew the equipment needed to get the shot. Our team of trained and experienced crew will be the difference you are looking for when it comes to nailing it on the day.
BLACK ARM
The Black Arm is a 3axis dampening system which can be hardmounted onto the porsche. This is a more cost effeicent approch but doesn't offer the flexibility to quickly change camera position that the Ultra Arm does.
An advantage of this setup is it can be used on public roads without road closures however the police must always be consulted before undertaking any tracking work on the public highway.
REmote head options
ARRI SRH
The Arri SRH-360 is a compact three-axis fully stabilized remote head. It packs a huge punch with a high payload while still only weighing in at 11kg.
For this reason it's our preferred head for high speed work on our Arm Car. Integrated LBUS creates more options for camera accessory control which allows for zoom focus and iris to be controlled through the RCP control panel.

"How long to be ready on camera
The Porsche will come ready on a trailer for the shoot. Some final installation work takes around 30 minutes to complete. We advise a prep day with the remote head to make allow for the fastest and smoothest setup.
"Can we use it in the rain?"
Yes, The Ultra and Black arm are both useable in wet conditions with a little extra rain protection.
"Can we go off road?"
The Porsche can do some off roading, but if you wanted to do high speed off road scenes, we have other options.
"How far will you travel?"
We are Nationwide and would also travel into Europe and beyond, just ask us.
"Do we need a crew?"
We send our vehicles our with an experienced and friendly team that will work alongside you existing camera crew. We can provide a camera operator on request.
"Which remote head do you advise using?"
Our preferred choice is the ARRI SRH-360 remote head. Its stabilisation and robust motors means its perfect for the job when being thrown around at high speeds.
